Toto Costruzioni Generali has always pursued objectives regarding quality construction, protection of the environment and the health and safety of its employees. Today, in line with the growing importance that these principles have assumed in the economic and industrial world, the Management has decided to promote a Policy of Quality, Environment and Safety which acts as a guide and point of reference for all staff and all sectors in which the Group works today and in the future.

To improve its efforts in terms of product quality and service, protection of the environment, prevention of pollution and in order to guarantee the health and safety of its employees, Toto Costruzioni Generali is committed to abiding by the following principles:

  • Paying proper attention to current law at a European, national and local level;

  • Identification, for every project, of crucial environmental factors in order to foresee and minimise environmental impact and reduce possible sources of pollution;

  • Establishment of a Health and Safety in the Workplace management system to eliminate or minimise risks for employees and other interested parties that might be at risk due to their work;

  • Establishment of an environmental management system that aims to eliminate, reduce or control any possible negative impact on the environment resulting from company activity by following all applicable legal regulations and any other provisions by which the company abides;

  • Focus on product quality, environmental standards and a guarantee of the health and safety of staff in all working areas and environments. This commitment also extends to employees of appointed and sub-contracted companies present on the Group's building sites;

  • Use of procedures, technology and materials that permit a reduction in consumption of natural resources and have the least possible impact on quality, the environment and safety of employees;

  • Reduction of dumping or accidental spillages of dangerous substances to a minimum;;

  • Return of building site and environment as far as possible to original state upon completion of work;

  • Involvement and motivation of all employees through information and training, on themes such as quality management, safety on the building site and the environment;

  • Involvement of suppliers, appointed and sub-contracted companies in these polices and the objectives outlined within;

  • Periodic checks, inspections and internal audits to verify the correct application of integrated quality environment and safety systems and prevent any non-conformity;

  • Development of emergency environmental and safety plans, containing the necessary measures and procedures to prevent accidental or emergency situations and minimise the consequences;

  • Implementation of a system for quality, the environment and corporate safety in line with UNI EN ISO 9001 - UNI EN ISO 14001 - OHSAS 18001 regulations.

The principles outlined were developed by the Management into measurable objectives and goals, which are periodically monitored and re-examined. These objectives are intended to improve the products and services provided and reduce environmental impact and the consumption of natural resources.

The Management is committed, through constant dialogue with collaborators and interested parties, to making sure this document remains adequate and valid, in line with the Company work ethic.
